I have my fingers in a lot of pies. The sweet filling burns, but I do not cry.
For the past six years I worked as a toy designer and a freelance illustrator.

At the moment I'm the manager of a dear little shop where i sell loose-leaf tea, and pretend to be writing stories when there are no customers stealing my precious, precious tea.
I am working on the requisite comic book series, prize winning novel and portfolio of drawings that will never be appreciated within my own lifetime common to every art school graduate with a little too much ego to quit and not quite enough talent to succeed.

I was born in England, grew up in New Zealand, moved back to England and then moved to the USA, with the result that my accent is completely incomprehensible to everyone.

This journal is dedicated to Lassie, and all other brave dogs whose names remain in obscurity, but without whose efforts the old abandoned wells of our nation would be clogged with tow-headed children.

My journal is mostly friends only from 2006 onwards, just email me or friend me if you want to be added. I'm not picky. You should see some of the riff raff we get in here.

PLEASE CHECK OUT MY ART JOURNAL ultralilac. It's packed full of vitamins.

Also check out my brother space_goblin's brilliant comics and artwork here. You can say you knew him before he was famous and riddled with Syphilis.

If I don't reply to your comments it's not necessarily because I'm being haughty, it's because I don't get comments emailed to me and I probably haven't seen it. Unless I'm just being a haughty of course.
I friend pretty much anyone who friends me, you don't need to ask. If I've friended you out of the blue I'm not stalking you, I just found your journal through work-induced boredom and liked your writing. I'm not leaving any 'pwease be my fwend, I'm goodgoodgood and ever so smart!' message in your journal first though. You should be glad to have me. Glad I say!
